Northwoods Fellowship is an Evangelical Free Church in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho. Our desire is to reach this community with the love of Jesus Christ by making disciples who will become disciple makers. We have made this our vision in obedience to the Great Commission: "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
We are also a church that shares God’s grace with all. Let’s face it, we all mess up, make mistakes, hurt each other, and have fallen short of God’s perfect standard. So we could all use a dose of God’s grace. And, His grace is available for all and sufficient for all. So our message is a message of forgiveness and grace. That’s why at Northwoods Fellowship, we don’t care what your background was, we don’t care how you are dressed, where you work, how much money you make, how old or young you are – all are welcome to come hear the message of God’s grace.
We will build our church by making disciples who will go and make other disciples. This is how God’s church was built in the first century and how it will continue to be built today. A disciple is simply a person who follows Jesus Christ. This starts with getting to know Jesus, believing that he died and rose again to pay for your sins. Then, living your life in every increasing relationship to Him and by serving Him in ministry and through sharing this message with others.
What can you expect when you visit us for our worship service? You can expect to be warmly greeted, and lovingly offered a cup of coffee. Our whole service is an act of worship – our music is contemporary, the Bible is read, and is central to the preaching. We join with the Holy Spirit and worship in song, in the reading of the Bible, in prayer, in giving and in the message preached. We pray that you will decide to join us on Sunday to celebrate our Lord Jesus Christ.
May God Bless you and keep you and make His face to shine upon you and give you peace.
